The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County (DOH-Flagler) has developed a comprehensive program for preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing treatment to those already infected.
Led by Medical Director Stephen Bickel, M.D., the local program links HIV-positive clients to medical care, case management, Ryan White and Medicaid services, as well as confidential services, including:
- Counseling
- Education
- Rapid testing (results in about 20 minutes)
- Aids Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
- Prevention
- Treatment
