The precautionary boil water notice issued Saturday, October 3, has been lifted. Customers in the affected areas may resume normal water use.
A precautionary boil water notice is in effect for water utility customers in Halifax Plantation, Sugar Mill, Fairchild Oaks, Plantation Oaks of Flagler, and Wexford Cove.
The alert is in response to a water sample taken on May 26, 2026. The public should exercise caution in and around this area.
