Bunnell, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County (DOH-Flagler) has issued a health alert for the presence of harmful blue-green algae toxins in Haw Creek–Confluence of Dead Lake, Haw Creek, and Crescent Lake. The alert is in response to a water sample taken on May 26, 2026. The public should exercise caution in and around this area.
Special Medical Needs Program
The purpose of the program is to provide transportation and sheltering for Flagler County residents who have mental or physical limitations or disabilities and have no other option but to request public assistance for evacuation planning in the event of a disaster such as a hurricane.
