The objective of the Food and Waterborne Disease Surveillance and Investigation program is to perform surveillance for the detection of food and waterborne diseases, to investigate food and waterborne disease outbreaks, and to educate the public about preventative measures that can be taken to limit the likelihood of food and waterborne disease outbreaks.
