Sanitary Nuisances

The objective of this program is to respond to complaints issued by citizens and visitors of the State of Florida regarding potential health concerns and/or sanitary nuisances as defined by s. 386.041, Florida Statutes. After such complaints are received by the Florida Department of Health in Flagler County, every attempt is made to investigate the complaint within 2 days. If the complaint is deemed to be valid, legal action is initiated against the responsible party and continues until the sanitary nuisance has been abated.
