The Department of Health in Flagler County protects the health, safety, and welfare of the public through uniform application of the regulatory standards related to the design, operation, and maintenance of tattoo establishments, temporary tattoo establishments, and licensure of tattoo artists within Flagler County.
Tattooing Establishments and Tattoo artists are required by law to obtain licensure through the Department prior to providing tattooing services to the public. Tattooing in the State of Florida without a license carries penalties which may include fines and criminal charges.
