Pregnancy is a special time for taking care of yourself and your unborn child. Early and regular prenatal care is important. The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County (DOH-Flagler) encourages you to begin your prenatal care with your physician or with us.
DOH-Flagler offers Prenatal Care through our certified midwife, nurses, registered dieticians, lactation specialists and health educators.
Services include:
Pregnant Woman
• Nutrition counseling
• Breastfeeding Classes
• Healthy Start Coalition screenings and referrals for care coordination
• Referral to ob/gyn for delivery
• Referral to childbirth classes
• Smoking cessation classes
• Laboratory services
• WIC

 

All pregnant women living in Flagler County are eligible for prenatal services. For those who do not meet requirements for Medicaid, services are provided with a fee based on income. Temporary medicaid applications may be completed onsite.
