Florida Department of Health – Flagler County Celebrates Earth Day withFlorida Health Cleans Up!

Bunnell - The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County celebrated Earth Day with a Florida Health Cleans Up! activity. The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) launched Florida Health Cleans Up! in 2014 to support the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) roadside litter prevention media campaign known as, “Drive it home…Keep Our Paradise Litter Free.”

Employees of the FDOH-Flagler participated in the Florida Health Cleans Up! Activity on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 to celebrate Earth Day.  The Flagler Team has taken on the goal to keep Dr. Carter Boulevard in Bunnell litter-free.  The activity is a quarterly Florida Health Cleans Up! activity that health department employees lead.  “Having a litter-free space for residents that walk to the health department and is important,” said Patrick Johnson, Administrator of the FDOH-Flagler.

The Florida Department of Health works to protect, promote and improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county and community efforts.
