Bunnell, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County (DOH-Flagler) announced today plans to offer drive-through COVID-19 testing Monday, January 18, the national holiday honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Testing, which will take place between 1PM and 3PM across from 120 Airport Road near High Jackers Restaurant, will be offered on a first come, first served basis for the first 100 guests. NOTE: These are NOT rapid tests and results will be available in 2 to 3 days. Testing will also be offered on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 to 3PM at the same location, and on Friday, January 22 from 9 to 10:30AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Other locations in Flagler County that provide COVID-19 testing include two Mediquick locations, CentraCare and CVS Pharmacies. Please confirm with each site in advance as most require appointments.

The health department expects a shipment of Moderna vaccine next week. Once received, the department will ask the County to alert residents and begin scheduling appointments. Per the Governor’s Executive Order, only health care workers and individuals 65 and older can receive the vaccine at this time.

If you received a COVID-19 vaccine at the Flagler County Fairgrounds site prior to January 12, 2021, the health department has ordered your second dose. You will be called approximately a week before your second dose is due and provided with an appointment date and time. You will be called at the phone number you provided when you received the first dose.

Residents may sign up for COVID-19 test alerts by texting the single word FLAGLERCOVID to mobile phone number 888-777. These alerts will provide information on vaccine and appointment availability. You may also sign up for a call-back list with Flagler County by calling 386-313-4200 weekdays from 9AM to 4PM. Homebound individuals can call the same number to schedule a home visit. It may take several weeks or even months for a call back as it will depend of the availability of vaccine.

COVID-19 health-related questions should be directed to a healthcare provider or the Florida Health hotline at 866-779-6121. Additional information can be found at floridahealthcovid19.gov/.
