Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program

Early detection is the key to successful diagnosis and treatment of breast and cervical cancers.

The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County participates in the Florida Department of Health's Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program. This program, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), provides free screenings, clinical breast exams, pap tests and mammogram referrals to women meeting the following eligibility requirements:

Age 50 through age 64

  • No insurance of any kind (including Medicaid, Medicare and third party)

  • Limited Income – Self declared. (No verification is necessary.)

  • Pre-screen over the phone or walk-in at DOH-Flagler

In most cases, clients are seen within two weeks. We have availability for 20 clients a month through the program. 

For age 50 and under

  • Clients will be screened for available services through the Florida Department of Health in Flagler County

  • Information for additional resources provided
