By Gretchen Smith

April 02, 2021

Effective Monday, April 5, all Flagler residents age 18 and over are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, per Governor DeSantis’ executive order. To accommodate increased demand, the Florida Department of Health in Flagler County (DOH-Flagler) has added new vaccination sites that will operate each week. These sites are alternatives to the department’s main operation at the Flagler County Fairground in Bunnell and local pharmacies.

Details on securing appointments at Parkview Church and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton follow:

The health department has vaccination events planned with other faith-based organizations and community partners in the coming weeks. Visit https://flagler.floridahealth.gov/ for details.

With respect to testing, DOH-Flagler has reduced the amount of COVID-19 testing it offers each week to accommodate a more robust vaccination schedule. No appointments are necessary, and test results are available in 2 to 3 days.

Next week testing will be offered Thursday, April 8 and Friday, April 9 from 2:30 to 3:30PM across from 120 Airport Road.

Other locations in Flagler County providing COVID-19 testing include two Mediquick locations, Grace Community Pharmacy, CentraCare, Palm Harbor Family Practice and CVS Pharmacies. Please confirm with each site in advance as some require appointments.
